Martin Stubbs visits Rob Roy - August 2016

Martin Stubbs is the photographer friend of Motormarques who attended the Rob Roy meeting featured in this article. This meeting at the historic venue may welll be a great milestone - as it was probably the the last appearance of the Dale Shaw Special, and Trevor Cole. In the current article, Car No 93 - the last image in this block of photos - is a perennial reminder of a hero of a golden age.

The simple fact of the matter is that at age 90+, Trevor has taken the decision to retire.
If you are lucky enough to know him, the chances are that you will be forever astonished by his lively and analytic mind. The chances are that you will want to know more about him, his life, achievements and his razor-sharp wit.
