The Lynx type 103 was one of the original "Ralt" type chassied cars with coil spring front suspension and transverse leaf rear, it was the first water cooled type cars produced.

Originally owned by Don Baker of Rydalmere and first raced by the late Max Stewart in round 3 of the Australian Formula Two championship at Oran Park on Aug. 1", 1976. Qualified eighth on the grid, further back than would have been expected because of an engine miss. Going better in the race and working his way through the field, he eventually had to retire when the 190bhp Vegantune engine went off song.  

Richard George (Dick) Willis was born October the 29th 1940 in Coffs Harbour, lived there at various addresses ever since, apart from 12 months in Sydney 1966/67. Married to Joan since 1973, 4 children ; mine/hers/ours. Dick Willis gives us an insight into his life as a racing driver of some of Australia's greatest historic cars.
