Long-time friend, Pedro Bessa sends this wonderful 3-part story, accompanied by some fabulous photos.  Part One FROM PORTUGAL WITH A HUG  "AutoClássico 2015" was held in Oporto, Portugal, in recent days 2, 3 and 4 October in the the "autoClássico 2015" hall. This is the largest international motor show and classic motorcycle event in the Iberian Peninsula. This thirteenth edition closed with about 35,000 visitors to its 40,000 m2 of exhibition space.
Along with various activities and anniversary parades, were:
Fiat 600 60th anniversary
Citroën DS 60th anniversary
MGA 50th anniversary
Mercedes 190 SL 60th anniversary
BMW Isetta 60th anniversary
We also saw the first car that circulated in Portugal. A beautiful 1895 Panhard & Levassor with 1290cc, 4hp and with a maximum speed of 20km/h (12,43 mph).
Many fine cars, which have changed man's life during the last century, were on display.
